Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Center at Guangzhou Elizabeth Women's Hospital is a newly established specialty after one year’s preparation with the help of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. Professionally trained doctors and nurses can help women who have unspeakable experience in pelvic floor dysfunction. Pregnancy is a transition for a woman physically and mentally. We have introduced French rehabilitation techniques which have been clinically validated and use state-of-the-art rehabilitation therapeutic equipment to prevent or treat pelvic floor dysfunction and improve women’s life quality.
Who is Pelvic Pain & Incontinence Rehabilitation for?
For many women who experience pain and incontinence of urine during their lifetime.
- Particularly suit for the women 42days after delivery;
- Women who have sexual discord as result of vagina flabby or spasm;
- Women who have mild to moderate Uterine prolapse, vaginal wall bulge, cystoptosis or anal prolapse;
- Women who have stress urinary incontinence.
What Services Do We Offer?
Elizabeth Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation includes treatment for women with urinary or fecal incontinence, urgency/frequency of urination, and/or pain in the pelvic region. This includes: pain in the abdominals, buttocks, pelvic floor, tailbone and vagina. The pelvic floor muscles may become weak or spastic as a result of delivery, surgery or trauma. Doctors at Elizabeth Women Hospital are specially trained to rehabilitate the pelvic floor muscles and they evaluate each individual and develop a plan of care.
How Long will Pelvic Pain & Incontinence Rehabilitation Take?
The plan of care is developed specifically to the individual’s needs and goals defined by the patient and evaluating therapist.
