On November 21st 8 p.m., 2015 AFC Champions League Final kicked off at GZ Tianhe Sports Stadium. The winner would be decided between GZ Evergrande F.C. and Al Ahli UAE. Due to the 0-0 draw of the first leg in Dubai, GZ Evergrande F.C. had to score a win for the champion. Both teams maintained 0-0 even in the 1st half. However, the suspension didn’t last long and the deadlock was broken at the 54th minute of the 2nd half. GZ Evergrande F.C. striker Elkeson scored a magnificent goal and the game ended in 1-0. GZ Evergrande F.C. had won the AFC Champion again ever since 2013. It was the second time it had won the title and the first team in CFL history to have achieved such great triumph.

Since November 1st, Elizabeth had initiated supporting events for the fans to join in. The events were organized via official website, wechat account and Tencent Canton website. Tickets, stars signed footballs and strips were provided. Over 40 thousand fans had participated in the events, some 20 of which luckily won the tickets and prizes and formed the cheering team to witness the AFC Champions League Final at Tianhe Sports Stadium.

After winning the AFC Champion, GZ Evergrande F.C. becomes eligible for the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup and will encounter its first opponent Club de Futbol América S.A. de C.V. on December 13th in Japan.
